ABOUT DEAD WATER DUCK CLUB
Dead Water Duck Club is located on the Northern border of the Marais Des Singes River between Butler and Rich Hill, Missouri, just 60 miles South of Kansas City on I-49/71 Hwy. The club sits on 450 acres of river bottom ground. Flooded corn and millet pools, with steel pits and electric outlets for provided ice eater and heaters, boarder the 250 acres of timber on the property in which multiple natural lakes are flooded for the hunting season. Dead Water is also equipped with electric wells to ensure ample water even in the driest years. The wells also provide open water, during freezing temperatures by using the natural heat from ground water.
We are working every day to make additional flooded timber areas available for the 2014-15 hunting season and plan to add additional flooded corn and improvements each year. For decades, this plot has been well-known in the area as a duck hunter’s paradise, we plan to make it even better.
Limited Deer and Turkey hunting will also be available for the 2021 season.
ABOUT OUR HISTORY
For generations, this area has been well known to waterfowl hunters. Waterfowl, guided by geographical landmarks, have come to this area to feed in these vast bottoms between the Lacygne power plant reservoir and Four Rivers Conservation Area for decades. In 2010, the farm was enhanced with water control structures and a levee system. Never satisfied, the farm is under constant construction with the goal to produce the best waterfowl hunting in the area…period.
The club exemplifies true old school hunting at its best with no fluff or frills….just ducks.
